Mage drops ubrs5/30/2023 ![]() The level 60 number cards only drop from level 50+ humanoid mobs on Azeroth, and the aces drop off specific bosses in specific Azerothian dungeons. Be sure you know whether you're after a level 60 or a level 70 deck, as both have slightly different rules as to which mobs drop their cards. WoWWiki has an excellent, concise page on which trinkets come from which decks, and where to find all the cards. To put it most simply, you need to collect the ace card and the number cards 2-8 of a single card type, "use" one of them to combine the cards into a single deck, take the quest from the deck, and turn the it in to Professor Thaddeus Paleo, who hangs out at one of the booths. The first thing you need to know is how to make and use a deck. We'll start in on everything after the jump. In this post, we'll be looking at both the old and new decks and listing some pros and cons of each deck so you can figure out if you want to spend the next month tracking down cards before the Faire shows up in Elwynn Forest in March, or even if you just want to blow your epic flying mount fund on getting a deck before it leaves for the month. ![]() But if you're still a little bit taken aback by the prospect of gathering all those cards, or wondering if the trinket at the end will really be worth it, we'd like to help you out. As I've mentioned before, The Darkmoon Faire is currently in Terrokar Forest, just outside Shattrath City, so if you have decks to turn in or need to refill your private stock of Darkmoon Special Reserve, now's the time to get on it.
